The most precious thing we have

Meat from species-appropriate animal husbandry with certificate of origin. Fruit and vegetables from our own organic farm. Rooms made from real Swiss stone pine. A spa under and on the roof. Fuelled with biomass. As little waste as possible. This is how we grew up. Our endeavours are therefore aimed at our children and grandchildren: we want to make our best contribution to preserving this world. Why don't you join us and we'll do it together.

Meat & farming

We eat very little meat ourselves. When we do buy meat for our hotel, we only buy it from local breeders and farmers. With a certificate of origin. From species-appropriate animal husbandry. We always utilise the whole animal from nose to tail.

We source fruit and vegetables from the Taufrisch community farm or from our own organic farm in Signato, Renon. We continue to run our farm in the spirit of our “mum and grandma” and bring our fruit, vegetables and wine to Drumlerhof.

We don’t have a huge wellness centre. But we have everything you need for pure relaxation. Indoor pool, sauna & relaxation room under the roof; whirlpool and pine sauna on the roof. We run it all with biomass.

Gluten-free for 25 years

Chef Ruth is a coeliac herself. She has been cooking gluten-free dishes at Drumlerhof for 25 years and bakes her own bread and desserts making Drumlerhof an insider tip for coeliacs.

Drumlerhof is a founding member of the Wanderhotels. Host Stefan personally accompanies guests through Valle Aurina - the valley of 80 three-thousand-metre peaks. We have lots of exciting inclusive services for active holidaymakers.

We at Drumlerhof attach great importance to using natural materials, and sourced the wood for our rooms & suites from the mountains of South Tyrol. Likewise, our loden and velvet textiles and furniture are all made by local craftsmen.
