Our coal stove is located in the inner courtyard. We use it to turn out gluten-free pizza, crispy bread and, in summer, a delicious organic T-bone steak, sourced locally. And we love seeing our guests gather around the stove, on Sundays usually, drinking a glass of South Tyrolean sparkling wine and enjoying delicious food. Stefan, the owner, and his daughter Franzi chat with them about the future of our grandkids or the stunning peaks of the Aurina Valley – sometimes revealing secret spots in the nearby woods. Someone will then pick up the accordion, and the mood gets really festive. We love this time together. This is how life should be. And how it should remain.
